verification: SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) for the fast route, or HRD / Home

MEA Attestation — Government of India
We
submit your documents to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the apex
authority in India for authenticating documents intended for use abroad. The
MEA stamp is mandatory and confirms that the document has been verified at the
highest level of the Indian government before it is accepted by the Chinese
Embassy.
China Embassy Attestation — Final Authentication
We
submit your MEA-attested documents to the Chinese Embassy, New Delhi, along
with the required covering letter and application forms. Embassy officials
verify the authenticity of all previous attestations and apply the official
Chinese Embassy stamp and signature — making your documents fully legal and
valid for use anywhere in the People's Republic of China.
